The Garden

This year I have focused on tomatoes and cucumbers in the garden. The tomatoes have gotten very big and the cucumbers are quickly growing. I am growing a variety of tomatoes and making pickles from some of the cucumbers. All of which will be available for purchase soon!

Milking

I milk twice a day, everyday, so this is the biggest part of the happenings here at the farm...and the most important. Right after milking is complete, the milk is brought to our home kitchen where it is strained and filtered, then chilled at 37 degrees to optimize flavor and freshness.

Raw Goat Milk

My milk is absolutely delicious and many people cannot tell a difference between our goat milk and regular cow's milk! The goats I use for milk are Nubian goats, which have a higher butterfat content making for a creamy and tasty milk. The milk is strained and filtered, then set to chill very quickly for the best flavor. Since my milk is raw (not pasteurized or homogenized) it does not last as long as milk from the store but if it's kept in the coldest part of your refrigerator, it will be refreshing for 2 weeks and sometimes more.

Homemade Bread

I have always enjoyed making bread and have been blessed to have some talented and skilled people to teach me aspects of different bread baking methods. I currently offer Sourdough and French breads and rolls, as well as Challah on occasion.
